First time trying sushi. Will not be the last. Really good impression made by staff and really good service. All meals tried were very tasty and really good. Dining experience was 1st class.

I ordered the Mixed Box to take out and I must say, it's probably the best sushi I've ever had! When I called them up prior to collection they immediately knew who I was and were very helpful! The staff ... (read more)are very friendly and provide great customer service, and it's really quite cheap for the quality of fresh fish you get. Needless to say that I will be going back!

I came with my best mate and my two flat mates last night and we had an absolute blast!!! It was our first time and now that we've popped our Yo! Sushi cherry we can't wait to go back again and again! ... (read more)Your staff were lovely and explained everything for us newbies and were super patient despite our excited pestering with order for extra chicken gyoza and crispy salmon skins, sake and, well, everything that caught our eye really! We had such a good time not even the disappointment of having someone yoink the chocolate mousse from the conveyor belt just before I could reach it could spoil the fun. Thanks so much! Can't wait to come back :D

Went yesterday to eat in, very great service. Staff were very friendly and only too happy to help my friend who has a gluten intolerance - ... (read more)they went through the dishes with her and made her some dishes especially without the dressing. The food was super but maybe a little more variation on the conveyer would have topped this up to a 5 star rating, the quality was excellent! Will definitely be back soon!

This Yo Sushi has a nice atmosphere and setting. Service is great and the food is generally good but most times we have been (and we go regularly) there has been something unavailable from the menu. On ... (read more)one visit a dish we order regularly did not contain all the usual ingredients and the gyoza this weekend were overcooked on one side and not cooked at all on the other sides. These minor details are disappointing as otherwised the food has been great.

I used to eat in the Yo! at House of Fraser in Glasgow, as I was unaware of The Edinburgh Yo! until about two months ago, since discovering its existence I eat there at least twice a week.....cause I LOVE ... (read more)IT!
The Food is always fresh, there is always a big selection to choose from and it doesn't take long for food to reach you when ordering it. Yo!'s prices at very fair for what you get, I can easily spend £20-25 and feel very satisfied (incl. drink or two).
Last but not least the staff, they are a very friendly bunch of people who always make you feel welcome, they are quick and efficient from answering the buzzer to getting you a re-fill on miso soup. I recommend YO! Sushi to ANYONE....providing they like sushi, but if you're a sushi lover you will LOVE Yo!

I dined at your new Yo! Sushi on Wednesday 3rd March and it was my first experience of a Yo! Sushi restaurant. I used to be a regular visitor to your previous Yo! Below on Rose Street, Edinburgh a few ... (read more)years back, and was sad when it closed.

I really enjoyed the food at Yo! Sushi and thought that the service given was very good. Our young male waiter was prompt and very helpful with hot food orders. He and my fellow diner discussed the delightful/disgusting textures of Masago, and he came back to check that she had enjoyed the dish. The food was tasty and fresh, and I was able to try a wide variety of food.

Although the new restaurant does not have the laid back, night club atmosphere of the previous Yo! Below, it has a clean and bright decor, and I very appreciated the design of the restaurant. Especially the Japanese phrases audible when I pressed the button for the attention of the waiter. Although there was only 2 tables coming off the conveyor belt (which means you can spread out a bit) the third table seems to be permanently used as the manager's office, with his laptop and papers scattered over.

I would also like to suggest you extend the opening times of the restaurant until perhaps 10pm? And that you secure a street sign outside Harvey Nichols to tempt passing trade. It was also a shame that we could not try the tempura dishes detailed on your online menu due to a problem with extractor fans(?) being unable to be fitted in the restaurant.

Shame that it's not open longer on Mondays and Sundays though, but still it's better than not having a Yo!Sushi at all. Yay for Yo!Sushi!
