For my friend's birthday, we went out for a meal at Yo!Sushi in the Metrocentre. Dressed as an anime character, I got a few strange looks as I arrived but once seated I didn't really care as I tucked into ... (read more)the delicious food. Some of the people were unsure of going there as they'd never tried Yo!Sushi before, but the range of both hot and cold food on the menu and conveyor belts soon converted them to Yo!Lovers. I'm a fan of Yo!Sushi myself and love it. The chocolate mochi and dorayaki are to die for. Love it. Love it. Love it.

You should be proud of the achievements of your Gateshead Yosushi -- the food is fantastic and the service second to none. Everyone there is so friendly and responsive -- even when I spilled Miso soup ... (read more)over my neighbouring diner !!!
The "hairy prawns" are to die for -- far better than at other Yosushis we've been to. My daughter introduced me to your food two years ago and I haven't looked back. -- I wish I could convert my wife !!

But my wife and I were the FIRST EVER customers at the Gateshead Yo! Sushi and we loved every minute of being there.

We just have to keep coming back, Gateshead is now our fav over Newcastle, where we used to go before Gateshead opened.

Cannot recommend it enough.

(read more)I just thought iid let you know both me and my friend tried the spicy squid today for the first time as we love trying out something different each time we come, Unfortunately we were a bit dissapointed as we found the coating on the swuid made the dish very dry. Perhaps in future you would consider serving it with a sauce or even make the lemon wedhe larger so that the lemon juice may take away from the dryness of this otherwisw fantastic dish. Thank You.

(read more)very welcome (Especially the blonde female member of staff - who's name I've yet to find out - always goes out of her way to make you feel right at home.) The food is always top notch and the only problem I tend to have is trying to find space for that one last plate of hairy prawns or bowl of katsu curry. After my visit today I just wanted to leave a positive comment - as I work in retail myself, I know how easy it is to write a bad review rather than a good one! This may not be my local branch but it’s definitely the one I'd go to every time. So just wanted to put a good word in for them. They deserve it! I look forward to many meals there to come!

I meant to email with my comments after my first visit to Yo Sushi a few weeks ago but forgot but after our most recent visit I felt I HAD to contact you. ... (read more)The service we received on Monday 21st Dec was exceptional from a member staff called Dan. We stood waiting to be seated when a couple walked past us and took the only available booth. I was horrified as we'd waited and being 8 months pregnant I really wanted a booth rather than sitting at the bar type area. Dan was quick to notice what had happened and very professionally moved the couple without us asking her to. She was extremely polite to the other couple and seated us quickly. She apologised for them and was very kind to me. She continually came back to us with offers of drinks and miso soup and even informed us that she might be leaving soon but we'd be well looked after by someone else. She informed me of the nearest toilet etc At the end of her shift she came back to us to say she was leaving and that she hoped we enjoyed the rest of our meal etc...She was lovely and chatty without being pushy and it made our night being served by her. We have told everyone we know about how lovely Dan was to us and recommended they visit Yo Sushi. We have now been twice and love it! Every member of staff has been fantastic, the food amazing and the experience second to none. A big thank you to all staff but especially Dan!

I love sushi and make my own. Have taken a couple of frinds to this YO and they loved it. Food is always nice. Pity that Monday's seems to have a shortage of high end food. i know its Blue Monday and all ... (read more)that but its a great way to try out normally more expensive dishes.

Other than that its fine, fast but never hurried.

Much quieter than the Newcastle branch.

(read more)The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the food was lovely, the whole experience was so relaxed and exciting at the same time. We will definitely be back. The only negative part was when I got home I realised that the waitress had not taken the 1/3rd off our bill (we received a voucher for 1/3rd off when we joined 'Yo! Love Club".

However, we will return again as it was good value for money.

I visited Yo Sushi for the first time ever (not first time eating sushi) and really enjoyed it. food was tastey and well presented. the service was very good too. all in all, i shall be visiting more often.
